Privacy Policy for Anotepad

Anotepad is an open-source note app. The app does not run any developer servers and does not collect or store user data on developer infrastructure.
What the app does
- Stores notes locally on your device in a folder you choose.
- Optionally syncs notes to your own Google Drive account if you enable Google Drive sync.
- Uses Google Sign-In only to authenticate for Google Drive sync.
Data we collect
- We do not collect or store personal data on our servers.
- If you enable Google Drive sync, note contents and filenames are transmitted to Google Drive.
- If you sign in with Google, your account email is used for authentication.
Data sharing
- Data is shared only with Google services required for authentication and Google Drive sync.
- We do not share data with other third parties.
Analytics and advertising
- The app does not use analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs.
Security
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS when using Google services.
Your choices
- You can use the app fully offline without Google Drive sync.
- You can revoke Google access or sign out at any time.
Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will be available at the public policy URL.
